The Association is a professional organization in the nature of a public institution being formed as a legal entity, to which payment institutions and electronic money institutions operating in Turkey are obliged to be a member within the scope of Additional Article 1 of the Law no. 6493 on Payment and Securities Settlement Systems, Payment Services and Electronic Money Institutions.
